My friend and colleague at the lab from Czech Republic brought a couple of Czech delicacies, namely this wonderful smoked sausage. Add a nice salad and vegs (and also a fried egg buried under all that stuff) and you have a brilliant dinner!! :)

Quick 'n' tasty dinner

Asda Cumberland sausages, pasta leftovers from yesterday (or the day before that??), a nice little salad and also some grilled peppers (it is definitely not the same as the one grilled in a charcoal barbecue, but nevertheless nice!). To accompany all of this, a nice home-made lemon+peppermint iced tea... :)
Overall, took me around 15 minutes to do. One must love the practicalities of modern life!

Continuando na temática dos velocímetros...
... aparentemente. E não é que já fiz 500 milhas em cima daquele selim? Felizmente já não é o selim original, após ter dado um passeiozito de 50 milhas ao longo da costa fiquei com o traseiro tão dorido que tive mesmo que arranjar uma coisa melhor!
E dá para ver pelas gotas de chuva um pouco por toda a parte que a ida às compras acabou por revelar-se um duchezito, vá... e obviamente que a chuva começou mal tirei a bicicleta de casa! ;)
Duvido que chegue às 1000 milhas antes de me ir embora do UK... visto que precisei de mais de 3 meses para chegar às primeiras 500!

Ahah, of course cycling is fun and completely eco-friendly, but in days like the ones we've been having lately I kind of miss the comfort of the enclosed metal box. That and the fact that driving is fun!! :)
And this is a very old photo, the car is now happily chugging along towards the 200000 km mark! (and the right side of the instrument panel had one blown bulb, which meant that at night I couldn't see the coolant temperature - which wasn't good, especially when taking into consideration that I needed to see it to know when to disable the choke! :))

Poor Queen, she won't have a proper celebration with this lousy weather... but it is nevertheless interesting to see all these celebrations. We wouldn't dream of doing the same back home with our President... not that we like him that much anyway! :P
